Skill Development Training and Empowerment in Old Age

Agewell Foundation's Latest Initiative for Old People

Agewell Foundation has initiated Skill Development Training and Empowerment in Old Age program in Delhi-NCR to make older persons gainfully engaged and self-reliant in old age.

Under this program a special handicrafts unit was set up recently and needy older persons are identified and selected by Agewell Volunteers  The unit has already started manufacturing varieties of handicrafts. For product marketing many Agewell volunteers have extended their helping hand and now our products are available at prominent cultural and market places across Delhi-NCR.

  A study by Agewell Research & Advocacy Centre INTRODUCTION Agewell is a consortium of over 1500 NGOs and 6500 volunteers spread across 540 districts of India , committed to initiate better interaction between generations and extend a helping hand.
